How to Install Time Traveler<\/p>\n

  1. Download<\/a> the TimeTravlerWHS.msi installation file<\/li>\n
  2. Copy the TimeTravelerWHS.msi installation file to the\u00a0Software\\Add-Ins folder<\/a> on your Windows Home Server (WHS)<\/li>\n
  3. Run the WHS Console |\u00a0Select Settings | Select Add-ins |\u00a0Select Available<\/a> | Press Install<\/li>\n
  4. Note TimeTravelerWHS requires WHS Power Pack 2 or later. If you do not currently have Power Pack 2 installed then download\u00a0the pack from Microsoft. From the WHS Console Settings page,\u00a0\u00a0select General | Press Update Now…<\/li>\n
  5. The WHS Console will close<\/li>\n
  6. Re-start the WHS Console and\u00a0 select\u00a0the Time Traveler tab<\/a><\/li>\n
  7. Enter your email address and order ID from\u00a0your purchase.\u00a0 Alternately, you can use the software in\u00a0trial mode which will limit the total rollback-points to a\u00a0 maximum of 25.\u00a0 Trial users can click the ‘Send feedback on trial version’ link to email any questions, issues, or concerns\u00a0they have about the software. We want to hear from you!<\/li>\n
  8. Select the hard drive you want to use to store\u00a0your rollbak database and press the Setup button.\u00a0 It is\u00a0recommended for best performance to use a different physical hard\u00a0drive than you are using for your Windows Home Server storage\u00a0pool (you can view the Server Storage tab on your WHS Console to\u00a0see how your hard drives are allocated.\u00a0 If you add a new\u00a0hard drive to your WHS at a later date and wish to move the\u00a0rollback database then please see our FAQ<\/a> for steps on purging and moving the database).<\/li>\n
