The lower-left corner <\/a>of Time Traveler add-in displays information about the state of your rollbacks.\u00a0 You have access to the following information:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Status<\/strong>: this will display “Online” if everything is\u00a0configured correctly.\u00a0 If you’re running a trial version of Time \u00a0\u00a0 Traveler and it expires then it will display “Expired Trial” and no future rollback operations will be available to you.\u00a0 During normal operation this can also display “Updating database” and “Updating folder list”; these are displayed while Time Traveler is performing rollback operations<\/li>\n
  2. Last Scan<\/strong>: This is the date and time of the last scan<\/li>\n
  3. Last Rollback:<\/strong> this is the date and time of the last rollback created on your WHS. It may not be the same as the “Last Scan.” \u00a0\u00a0 For example, if a scan is run but no new or changed files are found then a rollback is not created at that time and no disk \u00a0\u00a0 space is used for a new rollback<\/li>\n
  4. Total Rollbacks<\/strong>: this is the total number of rollbacks\u00a0available. If you press the “Manually” link and there is a new or \u00a0\u00a0 changed file in one of your selected Shares then you will see this number increase<\/li>\n
  5. Available Space:<\/strong> this is the total space available for the\u00a0Time Traveler rollback database<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Four schedule options are available: periodic, daily,\u00a0on-file-change, and\u00a0manually.\u00a0 See the lower-middle section<\/a> of the main screen for these settings:<\/p>\n

    1. Periodically<\/strong>: this option will scan your selected Shares for new\u00a0and changed files at the specified interval you choose<\/li>\n
    2. Daily<\/strong>: this option will scan your selected Shares for new and\u00a0changed files once per day at the specified hour you choose<\/li>\n
    3. On file change:<\/strong> this option will configure Time Traveler to automatically run a new rollback whenever a file is added or changed on your Windows Home Server.\u00a0 You can select the\u00a0number of seconds after each file change that Time Traveler should wait before it runs a rollback<\/li>\n
    4. Manually<\/strong>: this option will scan your selected share whenever\u00a0you run the Console and press the Manually link.\u00a0 Further,\u00a0you can always run a manual rollback-point by selecting the Create rollback now link located on the lower-right corner of\u00a0Time Traveler<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
